The Wave:
Sounds Natural speaker cables will deliver the signal from your amplifier to the transducer in the fastest, cleanest, purest way possible. It is the last link in the cable loom (unless you continue through to replace the inner cable within the speaker itself' if you are considering this please seek our advice on the correct cable to use & its construction - the rewards are well worth the effort).
Below is a photo of the left channel of a 6 metre pair of speaker cables recently designed with a client & installed to carry the signal from his Art Audio PX25 valve amplifier to the terminals of his Lowther DX3's - direct to the terminals not to binding posts. The outer covering is 100% undyed silk, hand knitted for the cable. The conductors were 2 runs, in both the send & return, of Neotech monocrystal silver/gold sheathed in pure silk, lightly twisted then sheathed in pure cotton & then in high quality silver plated copper sheathing fitted with a drain wire (which you can see at the bottom of the picture). Suppression of EMF/RFI on the speaker cable is by external fitting of ferrite rings.
This client had fitted our XLR interconnects throughout as a first step (after long discussion as he was very committed to his previous make). He initially decided to try one SN XLR between DAC & pre-amp; after approximately 5 minutes listening he ordered a full loom from the mains (see our power section) through SPDIF (transport to DAC) & to the speakers including sub-woofer cables. He also tried our isolation platofrms "The Shore" under all components; these remained in place!
We fitted the speaker cables as the final step to "good" results! Actual comments are not repeatable here but amount to "You mean my system has been making those sounds for the last 10 years & I've never heard them?".
We also designed & installed a 4.5 metre set of speaker cables using Neotech monocrystal stranded copper (February 2016) in a client's system. These were covered in a light gold pure silk, hand knitted outer & each conductor was sheathed in pure silk, the conductors lightly twisted & sheathed in pure cotton with shielding of silver plated copper. We had previously fitted silver/gold interconnects. These speaker cables are exceptional value for money & perfomed way above the client's expectations.
