The Base:

These cables are designed to carry the bass signal. They are used where either sub-woofers are in place or where the speakers permit bi-wiring. The conductors are chosen with the client from the Neotech range of monocrystal copper wires as stocked by our suppliers - Hi-Fi Collective. Where The Base is used the treble/mid range signal can be carried by a lighter guage cable. The aim is to maximise clarity, speed & timing. 

In the "Speaker" section we referred to our installation of a full loom of SN cables including the The Base. We used stranded copper monocrystal wire sheathed with silk, twisted to reject RFI, covered in pure cotton, sheathed in silver-plated copper braid & with an outer covering of black, hand-knitted silk. The result astounded the client as the bass immediately extended, became fully integrated & the timing improved significantly. 

We also installed a bi-wire cable to the bass cones of a pair of Celestion Ditton 25's with impressive results; we were handed the previous cables to find a good home for.
