The Arteries
The interconnects are a key part of the system infrastructure. Sounds Natural use monocrystal UP-OCC conductors for the send & return (& the ground if XLR). We do not use the shield as part of the signal carrier.
Hi-Fi Collective stock the Neotech range of monocrystal conductors - we do not/will not use any other conductors. Please follow the link below to review the range & begin the selection process. We will guide & advise your selection of the conductors based on the all the key factors including you, your system. your taste & your budget!
We will hand-build your cables using exactly the same processes & materials whichever conductor you choose:
- We will carefully remove the teflon covering then sheath them in pure silk knitted for us locally & to our specification.
- The sheathed conductors are then lightly twisted
- The signal is protected from vibration by sheathing the twisted conductors in pure, undyed cotton/Jute - which also spaces the conductors to reduce distortion
- The channel is then covered in 95% optical silver plated copper & the shielding has a separate drain wire to earth in the RCA (& connects to Pin 1 in the XLR versions).
- Suppression is built into the structure for every conductor; we offer additional, external suppression where required for the "belt & braces" approach!
- Termination is via Neotech OFC or UP-OCC connectors for both RCA & XLR cables.
The result will astound you. Fast, clean, detailed, accurate sound within a huge soundstage. Marketing hype? Try us.
Below are photos of some completed cables. You can choose the conductor & the silk outer covering for the sound & look you want.
We are developing a range of wooden covers for the terminations - these have sonic benefits but also look superb - see the "Wooden covers" section. They are not yet ready for market but we will keep you to date on progress.
